Our vision is to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities by strengthening the organizations and institutions that serve them.

Our Story

Founded in 2017, K. Allen Consulting™ is a national management consulting firm based in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Our Founder's career in K-12 education as an award-winning teacher, assistant principal, and ultimately, a school principal shaped her decision to center the development and needs of leaders and managers.  At the heart of it, Allen desired to create meaningful adult learning experiences that equipped leaders with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to not only survive, but also thrive within their roles. She understood the power of deeply authentic, engaging, and life-changing coaching, training, and other forms of development, and knew that when leaders are well positioned, they make better decisions, solve problems with confidence, and generally lead well. The effect is communities being better and well served.

Under Allen's leadership, the firm has expanded its reach to over eight countries, serving prominent corporate clients such as Amazon, the NFL, and Google, as well as schools, nonprofits, small businesses, and government agencies. Over time, K. Allen Consulting has grown to serve clients in over 30+ states within the U.S., clients across over 10 different industries/sectors, and become a respected, multi 7 figure, and award-winning small business and employer.  As Founder, Allen is recognized for her thought leadership in organizational leadership, as well as equity; has been featured in Time Magazine, the Los Angeles Tribune, MSNBC, EBONY Magazine, and more for her insights; named a 2019 Aspen Institute Festival Scholar; named one of the Top 50 Women in Business within Louisiana; and was named one of the top five Education Changemakers in Louisiana in 2024.
