Our vision is to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities through strengthening the organizations and institutions that serve them.

Our Story

Founded in 2017, K. Allen Consulting™ is a national  management consulting firm based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The first factor that drove our incorporation was our founder's fatigue experiencing racial injustice as a Black woman in educational leadership within the K-12 public education spaces. The second factor that drove our incorporation was our founder's deep desire to create meaningful adult learning experiences that were deeply authentic, engaging, and life-changing experiences that spoke to not only the technical knowledge and needs of adults, but also the hearts of participants in a way that equips them to enact real and sustainable individual and/or organizational change.

Under Allen's leadership, the firm has expanded its reach to over eight countries, serving prominent corporate clients such as Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft, as well as various educational institutions, nonprofits, small businesses, and government agencies. Over time, K. Allen Consulting has grown to serve clients in over 30 states, clients across over 10 different industries/sectors, and become a respected, 7 - figure, and award-winning small business and employer.  As Founder, Allen, an award-winning former teacher and principal, is recognized for her thought leadership in organizational development and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), has been featured in Time Magazine for her insights on racial bias in K-12 classrooms, was named a 2019 Aspen Institute Festival Scholar, one of the Top 50 Women in Business within Louisiana, and was named one of the top five Education Change-makers in Louisiana in 2024.
